Overview
Non-surgical, over a course.
Non-surgical body contouring targets stubborn areas that have not responded to diet and exercise. It is not a weight-loss treatment and it is not a substitute for one — it works on shape in specific areas.
It is planned as a course, because change accumulates between sessions rather than appearing after one. What is realistic for the area you are asking about is set out at the consultation.
It suits people who are close to a stable weight and want to change the shape of a specific area. It works mainly on fat, and it will not change fullness that is not fat. If loose skin is part of what bothers you, a clinician assesses the area first and tells you honestly how much it can help, or whether another option suits you better.
- For stubborn areas, not for weight loss
- No anaesthetic and no cuts
- Planned over a course of four or more
- Area assessed at consultation
- Written plan and price before you commit
- Results vary from person to person
What it is for
The concerns people bring us.
Most people who ask about body contouring have tried diet and exercise and want a more toned, sculpted shape in an area that has not responded. These are the concerns we assess most often.
Common concerns
- Stubborn pockets of fat that diet and exercise have not shifted
- Loose skin
- Uneven contours after weight has gone up and down
- Changes in shape that come with age
- Areas shaped by genetics — where fat tends to settle in your family
What we check first
- Whether the fullness is fat, loose skin or something else
- Whether you are close to a stable weight
- Which area, and what is realistic for it
- If it is unlikely to help you, we tell you
The treatment
How a course actually runs.
The same three steps every time, for body contouring as for everything else we do.
Step 01
Assessed, not sold to
A clinician looks at your skin or scalp, takes your medical history in person and tells you honestly what will — and will not — help. If the answer is “nothing yet”, that is what you will hear.
Step 02
Tested, then treated
Where a treatment needs one, a small area is tested first so the settings are chosen for your skin rather than guessed. Your plan, session count and total cost are agreed in writing before anything starts.
Step 03
Aftercare you can call on
You leave with written aftercare and a number to ring. A review is booked to check progress and adjust the plan if it needs it — that is where a course gets better, not on the first day.
Before & after
What a course can change.
The first is an unretouched photograph of one of our own patients. The two marked “Illustration” are simulated to show the kind of change a course can make — they are not patient photographs. Individual results vary, so what yours could look like is set out honestly at consultation.

Questions
Good to know.
Short answers to what people ask before booking body contouring.
Speak to the clinic
+44 7487 416555Is this a weight-loss treatment?
No. It works on shape in specific stubborn areas, and it is not a substitute for diet and exercise. Any clinic selling it as weight loss is overselling.
Who is it suitable for?
People close to a stable weight who want to change the shape of a specific stubborn area. If loose skin is part of the concern, a clinician will tell you at consultation how much it can help, or if it is unlikely to help you.
How many sessions will I need?
It is planned as a course — the published options are four sessions or 8+1. A realistic number for your area is agreed in writing at consultation.
Is it surgical?
No. There is no anaesthetic and no cuts.
When will I see a difference?
Change accumulates over a course rather than appearing after one session, and it varies from person to person. Your clinician will be honest about what is realistic for you.
How much is the consultation?
Yes, and it carries no obligation.
