Overview
Treated, and the cause explained.
A corn is a small, hard area of thickened skin that forms where a toe or the sole of the foot is under repeated pressure or friction — very often from footwear. It can make walking painful.
A clinician examines the area first to confirm it is a corn, rather than a callus or a verruca, which are treated differently. The hard core and thickened skin are then carefully removed. Because pressure causes corns, they can come back, so you leave with practical advice on footwear and padding.
- Examined first: corn, callus or verruca
- Hard core and thickened skin removed
- Advice on footwear and pressure
- Diabetes or poor circulation checked first
- Priced at consultation, agreed in writing

The treatment
How a course actually runs.
The same three steps every time, for corn removal as for everything else we do.
Step 01
Assessed, not sold to
A clinician looks at your skin, takes your medical history in person and tells you honestly what will — and will not — help. If the answer is “nothing yet”, that is what you will hear.
Step 02
Tested, then treated
Where a treatment needs one, a small area is tested first so the settings are chosen for your skin rather than guessed. Your plan, session count and total cost are agreed in writing before anything starts.
Step 03
Aftercare you can call on
You leave with written aftercare and a number to ring. A review is booked to check progress and adjust the plan if it needs it — that is where a course gets better, not on the first day.
Before & after
What treatment can change.
These are illustrations, simulated to show the kind of result treatment aims for — they are not patient photographs. Corns can come back if the pressure that caused them continues, so what is realistic for you is set out honestly at consultation.

Prices
Why corn removal is priced at consultation.
The cost depends on how many corns there are, their size and where they are, so a clinician looks first and gives you a figure before anything starts. The consultation is £50 and carries no obligation.
- Assessed before anything is priced
- Total agreed in writing before treatment
- £50 consultation, no obligation
- If it is not a corn, you will be told what it is
Questions
Good to know.
Short answers to what people ask before booking corn removal.
Speak to the clinic
+44 7487 416555Does corn removal hurt?
Removing the thickened skin and core is usually far less painful than walking on the corn. Your clinician will explain what to expect before starting.
Will the corn come back?
It can, if the pressure that caused it carries on. That is why you leave with advice on footwear and padding, which matters as much as the treatment.
Is a corn the same as a verruca?
No. A verruca is a wart caused by a virus and is treated differently. The clinician confirms which it is before anything is done — verrucas are covered under wart removal.
I have diabetes. Can I book?
Please tell us when you book. If you have diabetes, poor circulation or reduced feeling in your feet, foot care may be better handled by your GP or an NHS podiatrist, and we will say so honestly.
How much does it cost?
It is priced at the consultation, once a clinician has seen how many corns there are and where. The total is agreed in writing before anything starts.
