Overview

Two steps, one visit.

Scalp microneedling creates fine channels across the thinning area, which helps topical treatments absorb and prompts the scalp's own response. A low-level laser helmet session follows in the same visit.

It is used for early hair fall and thinning rather than for a scalp that has gone bare, and it is planned as a course of three or six with progress reviewed as it goes.

The treatment

How a course actually runs.

The same three steps every time, for microneedling with laser helmet as for everything else we do.

Step 01

Assessed, not sold to

A clinician looks at your skin or scalp, takes your medical history in person and tells you honestly what will — and will not — help. If the answer is “nothing yet”, that is what you will hear.

Step 02

Tested, then treated

Where a treatment needs one, a small area is tested first so the settings are chosen for your skin rather than guessed. Your plan, session count and total cost are agreed in writing before anything starts.

Step 03

Aftercare you can call on

You leave with written aftercare and a number to ring. A review is booked to check progress and adjust the plan if it needs it — that is where a course gets better, not on the first day.

Before & after

What a course can change.

These are illustrations, simulated to show the kind of change a course aims for — they are not patient photographs. Response to hair treatment varies a great deal from person to person, so what is realistic for you is set out honestly at consultation.

Questions

Good to know.

Short answers to what people ask before booking microneedling with laser helmet.

Speak to the clinic

What happens in a session?

Scalp microneedling first, which creates fine channels across the thinning area, then a low-level laser helmet session in the same visit.

Who is it for?

Early hair fall and thinning. Like PRP, it works where follicles are still active rather than on scalp that has gone bare.

How many sessions will I need?

Courses run to three or six. You get a realistic number at consultation, agreed in writing.

Can I combine it with PRP?

That is a question for the consultation — a clinician will plan the course around what your scalp actually needs rather than around a package.

How much is the consultation?

Yes, and there is no obligation to book afterwards.
