Overview

Skin quality, from within.

Polynucleotides, PDRN and skin boosters are often grouped together, but they are different products used for different reasons. None of them adds volume like filler or relaxes muscle like anti-wrinkle injections — they are used to support the quality of the skin itself.

Because the effect builds rather than appears, they are planned as a course. Which product, if any, is right for you, and how it sits alongside anything else, is settled at the consultation.

  • Polynucleotides, PDRN and skin boosters
  • Different products, chosen for your skin
  • Does not fill and does not freeze
  • Planned as a course
  • Written plan and price before you commit
  • Progress reviewed at every visit

Treatment options

Different products, different jobs.

They are not interchangeable. A clinician explains which one suits your skin, and why — and results vary from person to person.

Polynucleotides

  • Injectables made from purified DNA fragments
  • Used to support skin quality, including on thinner skin such as around the eyes
  • The effect builds gradually over a course

PDRN

  • Polydeoxyribonucleotide, a related DNA-derived ingredient
  • Used to support skin quality and texture
  • Your clinician explains how it differs from polynucleotides

Profhilo (skin booster)

  • A hyaluronic acid injectable that spreads beneath the skin
  • Used to hydrate the skin and improve laxity, not to change shape
  • More on skin boosters

Which one, if any

  • Chosen after assessing your skin and what bothers you
  • Sometimes none of them is the right answer, and you will be told

The treatment

How a course actually runs.

The same three steps every time, for regenerative approach as for everything else we do.

Step 01

Assessed, not sold to

A clinician looks at your skin or scalp, takes your medical history in person and tells you honestly what will — and will not — help. If the answer is “nothing yet”, that is what you will hear.

Step 02

Tested, then treated

Where a treatment needs one, a small area is tested first so the settings are chosen for your skin rather than guessed. Your plan, session count and total cost are agreed in writing before anything starts.

Step 03

Aftercare you can call on

You leave with written aftercare and a number to ring. A review is booked to check progress and adjust the plan if it needs it — that is where a course gets better, not on the first day.

Before & after

What treatment can change.

The first is an unretouched photograph of one of our own patients. The three after it are illustrations, simulated to show the kind of change treatment aims for — they are not patient photographs. Individual results vary, so what is realistic for you is set out honestly at consultation.

Questions

Good to know.

Short answers to what people ask before booking regenerative approach.

Speak to the clinic

+44 7487 416555
What are polynucleotides and PDRN?

DNA-derived injectables used to support the quality of the skin itself, rather than to add volume like filler or relax muscle like anti-wrinkle injections. They are related but not identical, and your clinician will explain the difference.

How is this different from filler?

Filler adds volume. This does not — it is aimed at skin quality, and the effect builds over a course rather than appearing on the day.

Is Profhilo the same thing?

No. Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid skin booster that hydrates the skin and helps with laxity. It is often discussed alongside polynucleotides, but it is a different product used for a different reason.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the product and your skin. A realistic number is agreed in writing at consultation.

When will I see a difference?

It builds rather than appears, which is why it is planned as a course. Your clinician will be honest about the timescale at consultation.

How much is the consultation?

Yes, and it carries no obligation.
